    These web sites provide a representative sampling of current (regularly updated) mortgage rates in various parts of the U.S. Of the two sites, "Microsurf" seems the more comprehensive.

    FINANCIAL CALCULATORS

    These web sites offer interactive calculators which calculate, for example, the mortgage payment, given the principal, number of years and interest rate. The first site is strictly mortgage calculators. The second site offers quite a variety of calculators in addition to mortgage, for example - how much home can you afford? (Sort of a "self-prequalification") Check 'em out. They are fun to play with and can provide useful information.
